The Lord called Lonnie and Belinda Riley to Lynch (in Harlan County) in 1999 to help the people of Eastern Kentucky, specifically Lynch, through sharing and demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ. There arrival was timely, and what happened next was featured in the "It's Only Cookie Dough" Transformations video released by the Sentinel Group. Lonnie believes all we have to do is believe and God will show us what the next step is. He said, “God is never late or early. He is always on time.”
Meridzo Center Ministries serves thousands in Harlan County and beyond with food, clothing, furniture and appliances, job training, home repair, church repairs and construction, refurbishing and building city parks, starting new ministry-related businesses, as well as a host of other ministries like Calvary Camps, Faithfully Fit Gym, God’s Creatures veterinary clinic, Lamp House Coffee Shop, The Stables at Creekside, Solomon’s Porch Retreat Center and many more.
