side. Through intercessory prayer, you can reinforce our pastors with God's strength and protection. If we aren't praying, though -- if intercessory prayer is missing -- the full extent of God's power is often stifled in the lives and ministries of our leaders. They can't do it alone.

What is the Prayer Shield?
By joining the Prayer Shield team, you are simply making a commitment to pray daily for our pastors. Each week you will receive an email with prayer needs and encouragement on how to pray that week for these men and women God has called to lead us at New Hope. You will also receive any urgent text alerts asking you to pray for the pastors should those needs arise.
Some Resources to Get You Started
First, we want to provide you with this simple PDF that you can print out and use while you pray. It contains 31 scriptures and specific prayer focuses (one for each day of the month) you can use as you pray over our pastoral team.
Second, we'd encourage you to pick up a copy of C Peter Wagner's book, "Prayer Shield". This book provides step-by-step instructions for praying like never before. You will learn:
