I'm New

New Hope Church Palm Harbor is a place where people can meet Jesus,  engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. Join us for one of our two weekend worship services, or go deeper in one of our Connect Groups that meet around the community!

What To Expect

Whether you've attended church your entire life or never been at all, we know it's not easy visiting a church for the first time. You're not quite sure what to expect and you probably have a lot of questions. At New Hope Church, we want to give you the best spiritual experience possible!

What type of Church is New Hope?
We are a Spirit-filled, non-denominational church with people from all backgrounds. Whether you've been attending church for years or this is your first time, you'll feel welcome at New Hope.

What should you wear?
This is Florida so come dressed comfortably! We welcome jeans, t-shirts, ties, tuxedos... you get the idea. Just come as you are!

What about your kids?
We are here to serve you and your family, no matter the age! During our Sunday morning service, all children ages infants to 5th grade are invited to join us in Kid Zone -- a fun, safe, clean, interactive environment. Our team of trained volunteers and staff create an  experience your child will want to come back for every week! When you register your child, you will receive a small tag you use to pick up your child after the service. Click HERE for more information about our Children's Ministry.

What is "Simple Church"?
We know that some of you are not able to attend on a Sunday morning for whatever reason, so it's Pastor Nick's heart to make sure you get to worship and receive in a corporate setting as well! "Simple Church" is our answer... acoustic worship and the message presented in a relaxed atmosphere that also allows for questions and answers. This is held at 6pm on Saturdays in our Cafe. There is no nursery or kids ministry provided for this worship experience.

What is a typical Sunday service like?
We guarantee that you will feel welcome at New Hope! You will have a meaningful, spiritual experience that you will enjoy! We like to sing as a congregation to express worship to the Lord. For the first 25-30 minutes our worship team will lead us in contemporary style of classic and modern worship songs. The words of each song are projected onto monitor screens so you can participate.
We follow that with a short time of prayer and welcome, share a bit of what is going on at New Hope, and then have a time of offering.
Afterward, a message/sermon is presented for about 45 minutes. We love to take eternal Biblical principles and share them in a way that applies to your life in a very real and practical way. Feel free to bring a Bible and a notebook if you like, or use the printed on in-app notes we have prepared for you. This way, you can review the message later in the week.
Right away, you'll see that we love to fellowship! Whether it is Saturday night or Sunday morning, our Hospitality Team prepares some great refreshments and snacks for you to enjoy while you get to meet people before service starts.

What about Wednesday nights? What can you expect?
Each Wednesday night our adults gather in the sanctuary for a powerful dive into God's Word with Rev. Tom & Laurie Mitchell. This is a great time for fellowship and study in a casual setting. Our current study is on the book of Proverbs.
Childcare is provided up to 5th grade and then we have full ministry for middle & high school students. Click HERE for more information on FORGE, our student ministry.

NOTE: Both weekend services and our midweek Bible study are live-streamed on Facebook, YouTube and the church website and app.
